Star Wars: The Acolyte trailer dropped, and it looks promising. The series is supposed to take place a couple of years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. It seems to be about a mystery involving a force-using serial killer and the possible resurgence of the Sith. Hopefully, this series is worth watching, given the definition of “love for the franchise” these days with Star Wars. I enjoyed the first two seasons of The Mandalorian and season one of Ahsoka (I’ve never gotten around to Andor since it’s a prequel to the prequel Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It’s a rinse and repeat of the same thing we’ve seen again and again). Maybe it can make the prequel films better since this series is a transition from the High Republic era to the start of the Skywalker Saga. We’ll see what happens when the show drops on June 4th. Happy May the 4th!
