Hello Internet! I am back with another recap of Ms. Marvel. I’m thrilled that this series has gotten better and better with each episode. I am stoked about what is going to happen in the next episode. Before we do that, let’s recap!

Picking up where Episode 3 left off, “Seeing Red” follows Kamala (Imani Villani) and her mother, Muneeba (Zenobia Shroff) traveling to Karachi to visit Sana (Samina Ahmad), Muneeba’s mother and Kamala’s grandmother. Kamala learns about how she survived the Partition of India (which separated the region into India and Pakistan) and discovers that the bangle is giving a message in the form of an oncoming train.

Despite sightseeing with her relatives, Kamala tries to investigate a nearby train station when all of a sudden attacked by Kareem (Aramis Knight). After being mistaken as part of the Clandestines by Kareem, Kamala meets the leader of the Red Daggers, Waleed (Farhan Akhtar) who reveals that the Clandestines are trying to break through the Veil of Noor into the Djinn Dimension (our world I believe) and take over.

Meanwhile, the Clandestines, led by Najima (Nimra Bucha) and Kamran (Rish Shah), escape with the former leaving her son knowing he betrayed her loyalty to the group. Soon after, the Clandestines attack and chase after Kamala and the Red Daggers to take back the bangle resulting in Waleed’s death. The brief scuffle at the marketplace ended with Najima’s spear accidentally triggering the bangle, sending Kamala back in time to the Partition.

With that out of the way, I can wait to see what happens next. How is she going to get back to the present day? How is her mother going to potentially react to the fact that she is a legitimate superhero? What other mysteries will this show reveal or slowly answer? We will see in the second to last episode of the series.
