The Tyrant Season 2 finale has come and gone, and through the season, we were introduced to several new characters, including to the resourceful and smart Daliyah, played by Melia Kreiling.
Civil rights pioneer Amelia Boynton Richardson has died at the age of 104. While her passing is very sad, it’s worth it to us to acknowledge her long life and the change she was able to bring to the country by inviting Martin Luther King Jr. to Selma, AL.
Janelle Monáe is SO AWESOME! She’s certainly at the top of my “Women I’d love to Befriend” list.
Shannyn Sossamon has become a part of the Sleepy Hollow cast of characters! Moran Atias’ Leila Al-Fayeed is the glue that holds the Al-Fayeed family together on Tyrant. Amira might think she’s the glue, but it’s clearly Leila. Similarly, it’s Atias’ amazing acting that breathes life into Abuddin’s First Lady and has turned the character into a force to be reckoned with.
Viola Davis is smart, kind and important. If you’re a Viola Davis fan, you know what film I’m referencing with that specific introduction.
Sibylla Deen is someone I see a lot of on my TV nowadays.

Halle Berry has a lot of accolades to her name: beloved actress, Academy Award winner, hard-working mother. But she has also added sci-fi heroine to her repertoire.
Sakina Jaffrey is known to us Sleepy Hollow viewers as Sheriff Reyes or as Linda Vasquez on House of Cards. But you probably also know her as Fatima Qu’osby in the web series Halal in the Family.
