Based on the groundbreaking novel of the same name by Charles Yu, Interior Chinatown finds the background character Willis Wu (Jimmy O. Yang) living in the background of a police procedural called Black & White. It isn’t until he witnesses a crime he becomes the protagonist of this story. Partnered with Detective Lana Lee (Chloe Bennet), he is looking to find out the truth behind his family’s history and understand what it’s like to be in the spotlight.
