Halloween is just two months away and one particular film property of the early 1970s is resurrected again.

Directed by David Gordon Greer who directed the Halloween 2018 trilogy, The Exorcist: Believer is the first of a planned direct sequel trilogy following the lauded original 1973 movie. Seems like this time around it features two demonic possessions, and it will be interesting to see how this particular story will play out in the next two movies.

This movie will surely cause some nightmares for audiences and Exorcist fans when it comes to theaters on October 13.  Here is the official synopsis of the movie:

“Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years ago, Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom, Jr.) has raised their daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett) on his own. But when Angela and her friend Katherine (Olivia Marcum), disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.”
