Since I’m now a BTS expert of sorts, I’ve been keeping up with news about these boys on the regular. They’ve been doing some big moves lately, what with BTS member J-Hope putting out a mixtape (and breaking Billboard chart records), the group becoming the kings of YouTube, and with the group partnering with Puma to release a special line of sportswear.
The line is currently only available on the Korean Puma website, but Puma does ship internationally, so if you really want to get this line, do what you need to understand the dollar-to-won ratio. In any case, the line is full of clean, streamlined, minimalist sportswear designs, exemplifying what I think of as that classic “K-pop boy band” look while looking modern, mature, and dare I say elegant.
“We’ve had various promotions with BTS as our brand models for 4 years in a row,” said Puma in a statement, according to AllKPop. “They will gain even more love as global ambassadors starting this year.”
The group has worked with Puma before, but to make this time around even more special, they’ve released a special Puma “Turin” sneaker to go with the rest of the new line.
Check out some of the pictures from the line, via Puma’s site, as well as the official Puma/BTS promotional video.
